The Griffin Incident

Returning on a shuttle from a leadership conference, James Kirk, Spock, and La'An come across the derelict ship USS Griffin, which had disappeared nine years earlier. They detect no life signs and beam aboard to investigate. They begin seeing anomalous activity, including a suspicious woman walking the halls. Spock becomes trapped in the medical bay after the computer informs him that most of the crew was killed after being beamed into empty space, and sees visions of T'Pring. Kirk tries to communicate with the USS Enterprise crew, but is distracted when he hears his infant son crying. La'An sees the video logs of the ship's chief of security, Rose Harper, who she realizes killed all of the crew, and is the woman walking through the halls. The crew of the Enterprise apparently beams aboard to rescue them, but begins acting strangely.
